Data protection principles
All processing of personal data shall be carried out in accordance with the data protection principles set out in Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Traps policies and procedures are intended to generate compliance with these principles.
Personal data are processed lawfully, in good faith and in a transparent manner.
Traps will demonstrate compliance with data protection principles by implementing data protection policies by adhering to codes of conduct, implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures, as well as adopting data protection techniques at the design and protection stages; default data, privacy impact assessment, personal data breach notification procedure, etc.
Storage and destruction of data
Traps does not store personal data in a way that permits the identification of subjects for a longer period than is necessary for the purposes for which the data were collected.
Traps may only retain data for extended periods if personal data are processed for archiving purposes, for public, scientific or historical purposes and for strategic purposes, and only when appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to ensure the rights and freedoms of the data subject.
